Swim Spa Removal Access Checklist
Document size, route, clearances, and loading space before requesting an estimate.

Measure length, width, and height, and photograph the manufacturer plate if it can be reached safely. Include any steps, cover lifter, enclosure, or equipment that must also leave. Swim spas vary enough that a generic hot-tub estimate is rarely useful.
Map a route at the same scale
Follow the proposed path and record every narrow point, turn, overhead line, branch, railing, retaining wall, and grade change. A wide gate does not solve a route with a sharp turn immediately behind it.
Show equipment access
A long or heavy unit may require lifting or loading equipment. Photograph the driveway, lawn, fence line, and any area where equipment might stand. Do not assume a lawn, septic area, or decorative paving can support that load.
Plan for attachments separately
Covers, steps, control packs, and detached equipment may need separate handling. List them instead of assuming they are included. If the spa remains connected or contains water, say so in the first request.

Use the notes to define the job
Send the completed details with wide and close photos. Ask the provider to state what is included, what must happen before arrival, and what condition the area will be left in. If a utility, structure, or access question remains open, resolve it before choosing a removal date.
